I am heartbroken to report the conclusion of our most recent production of Shakespeare’s King Lear. I could out-do Regan and Goneril in my effusive love for this show (only I would be true obviously). In this one the cast and crew achieved that beautiful level of cohesiveness that reminds me of why I fell in love with this collaborative art form in the first place. It was truly an amazing show and I could have watched it many many more times. Special thanks to Director Chris Kauffman for indulging my Norse/Medieval bent in the costuming department and Eric Berninghausen for the extra time that he gave me with the storm backdrop.
